Our facilitation is rooted in feminist, anti-racist, LGBTQI friendly, trauma-informed, earth-honouring ethics. We believe in bringing forth the wisdom of the group and the collective experience of women,  and we hold space not as experts, but as guides to help you find your own ways of knowing .

Location

Gymea Eco Retreat & Spa

Radiant Woman is held at Gymea Eco Retreat & Spa in the beautiful Wollumbim caldera of in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.  Surrounded by natural beauty, this

sustainable retreat centre offers Eco Deluxe rooms comfortably accomodating you and your daughter.  Equipped with luxury 5-star eco inner sprung latex topped single or king beds. All bedding, manchester and room furnishings have been carefully selected to meet biodynamic or organic certification standards. Each room includes its own shower and toilet.  

Gymea also offers a 20m long resort-style Magnesium swimming pool which can support detoxification, reduce stress and anxiety, and promotes energy and well-being.

The Healing Spa offers a range of certified organic facial, body treatments and massages.

Food

All retreat meals and snacks are designed to be nutritious and delicious based on local ingredients. Please let us know on your registration form if you have any specific dietary requirements so our caterer can meet those needs.

Menstrual Well-Being

Karin is a youth worker and qualified mentor who leads a variety of coming of age programs for young girls and parents. 
She's a 'Journey of Young Women' instructor, online Red Tent facilitator, and is also involved in a variety of international menstrual awareness projects.
Her vision is to prepare girls to become confident and informed young women.

Facilitator

Tammie is an experienced youth and family worker with over 12 years experience working in high schools and in the wider community. She has experience in a variety of roles, is particularly passionate about working young women, and loves her work facilitating girls’ groups in schools. Tammie holds a safe and supportive space for young women to connect with themselves and their bodies and to support each other as young women and sisters. As a youth and family support worker she also walks alongside parents in a way that supports you to connect to your own authentic selves so you can, in turn, support and connect with your daughter.

Tammie is an experienced Mum and has two beautiful adult children.
